This report explores feedback from stakeholders on good practice, lessons learnt, and future opportunities from implementing compensation measures thus far, collected through a workshop and series of stakeholder interviews. The report will be used to inform the future direction of the SCS project’s work by providing an interim snapshot of stakeholder perspectives, and by offering a benchmark that will be used to assess progress at the SCS project’s end in 2027. Beyond this, the findings of this report will be used to capture insights on how offshore wind compensation has changed over the duration of the SCS project and understand the impact of government interventions, like the Marine Recovery Fund (MRF) and environmental compensation measures reform.
