To coincide with green careers week, the Offshore Wind Industry Council's pathways to growth workstream, which focuses on consenting and the environment, has launched a campaign with RenewableUK to raise awareness of careers in consenting.
Roles in consenting are vitally important to the development of offshore wind - and industry has identified that there is significant demand for more of these roles to manage the upcoming pipeline of offshore wind farms in the most environmentally sensitive way possible.
OWIC has worked with volunteers across the industry in various offshore wind consenting roles to highlight and showcase the variety of jobs available.
